Are you looking for reliable high yield returns? Investment in a Hero private mortgage provides substantial returns with moderate levels of risks. At present, a private first mortgage typically has total return yield of 8% to 11%. Second private mortgages typically have total return yields of 12%-16%. Returns are priced based on risk of default. Typical considerations include: existing equity in the property, geographical location, type of real estate, borrowers income and credit worthiness. Typically borrowers are ineligible for conventional prime bank financing due to present or recent credit or income situations. Lending is based primarily on the equity and quality and nature (i.e., residential versus commercial) of the mortgaged property.

Our Approach

We approach private lending from the point of view that there has to be something in it for all parties to make it work; both for borrowers and lenders. To that end from the investor's point of view we seek first primarily the protection of lenders capital, deal parameters at appropriate risk levels for the lenders priorities and comfort level, and lastly risk modification and management in the event of default to fully recover capital and interest.

Our approach is to do high level of diligence up front, and then to have in place procedures to limit downside risks in a worst case scenario. In short we take reasonable and considered steps to protect you, the investor, at all stages of investment.
