Hero Mortgage (Hero Mortgage Services Inc.) was founded by Raymond Kar with the goal of providing Southern Ontarian's a superior way to arrange their mortgage. Prior to Hero Mortgage, Ray was mortgage agent for almost five years at an independent mortgage brokerage. In all Hero's business dealings Hero strives for transparency, fair dealing, and win-win results for clients and business partners. Hero's business is about community--serving the community and actively being a positive contributor to the communities Hero participates in.
Presently Hero Mortgage offers mortgage services primarily in Toronto, the GTA, and Southern Ontario (Golden Horseshoe), including Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Pickering, Peterborough, Brampton, Vuaghan, Milton, Oakville, Hamilton, Kitchener, Guelph, Cambridge, etc.

Our mortgage brokering services in most cases are free of charge to the client. Under most lending situations there is no fee to the client for our service. In instances, where a mortgage brokerage fee may be involved (for example in mortgage default situation, or a commercial mortgage) you will be informed prior to the mortgage being arranged and will have every opportunity to think it over, consult a lawyer, etc., prior to entering the mortgage agreement. In many instances involving a private mortgage, legal third party consultation is a funding condition.
Ray's Background
Ray graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A. in Accounting, and a MBA from the Schulich School of Business (York University) in Finance and Marketing.
